Commercial use of trucks, as a rule, occurs with high intensity. Accordingly, all components and parts wear out much faster and require careful treatment.
During the inspection of the car, the mechanic-controller assesses the technical condition, namely the brake system, steering, oil level in the engine, tire pressure, external evaluation of the units of the unit for visible defects (leakage of fluids, deformation, etc.).
The inspection is carried out in a specially equipped box (room) with all the necessary equipment and a pit for car inspection using additional lighting.
When breakdowns and defects that prevent further operation are detected, the mechanic-controller sends the vehicle to the repair shop. The decision to bring the car to the line is made by the mechanic, which is indicated by the corresponding stamp in the road registration. The appropriate stamp, which the mechanic puts in the waybill, confirms that the pre-trip control of the vehicle’s technical inspection has been carried out, no malfunctions have been detected, and the vehicle is in good condition. The date of the inspection and the mechanic’s signature are also attached. If the driver agrees with the specialist’s opinion, he also signs and can leave for the flight.
Regular technical inspection, as well as regular pre-race control of technical equipment, reduce the likelihood of an accident due to a car malfunction. Accordingly, the company does not lose funds for repairs after the accident, does not suffer losses due to the lack of transport.
